Sanitation & Recycling

The City of Arco provides garbage services for the residents of Arco. Everyone within the city limits is required to have garbage collection. Please only place household garbage in the garbage cans. You can place up to 5 bagged leaves, grass or small branches next to your can and we will pick that up. Please also bag your garbage. If you have garbage around your can(s) please pick it up. Extra cans are available for $2.00 extra a month. 

We do not offer recycling. We do however have a resident that recycles aluminum cans, which you may drop off in bags behind the city office and we will deliver them to her. For bigger metal recycling (vehicles) there is a business on the south side of town, going towards Idaho Falls that recycles. The companies name is S&C Recycling - phone number 208-680-9047.

Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside with your regular garbage service days. If assistance is needed or you have questions for the city, please do not hesitate to contact us.
